If the sector is small i can replicate.
I was able to get this to happen after i reduced the sector size to 1500. I believe that this is occurring due to the small sector size.

Everything i am seeing leads me to issues similar to placing a station near the edge of a sector. I am wonder if this has to do with having such small sectors. Although I cant replicate it in sp with sectors the same size...
Spunkie has a point,
It would become impossible to overheat a ship exploiting these untargetable blocks in large quantities if they were to keep their System HP value.
The video was taken on the test server if you want to see it for yourself go to the coords shown in the video i think i left them up.
If weapons get changed to pass through them make sure that they do not apply to ship hp or armor hp so you don't end up with an invincible ship.
If Ion is doing that against hull, then by extension the Piercing Effect will register the same phenomenon against a shielded target?
Are there any other testers have the 7k adapters?

I am unable to duplicate any strange behavior, unless i am near the sector edge. I will await your feedback.
This seems to be related to edge of sector issues. Please try to redo your station and put it dead center of the sector. if you are in sp enter the admin command "/teleport_selected_to 0 0 0" to put you dead center of the sector. If MP make sure all the cords are the same.
While looking at you vid, looks like you did get yourself to center though. Your sector size 5k?, no 2k..
What is the sector size in your game?
This should be fun.. :)
Perhaps the Dev's could fine tune this area?

I have noticed this as well, i don't thing this is a bug however. But I can confirm this is the case. One cant get rid of it even by dropping it in the trash.
This is a visual problem Client side (T249).
The Client isnt waiting for the server to verify that it did receive the jump order and shows the charge of the drive as already consumed.
Trying to continue to jump until it actually executes it should prevent you from being killed even if the client show it as not charged.
also happens in case the server isnt recognizing the jump due to lag or heavy load
Torch beams could keep the ability to hit them, this would make you able to check for booby traps during boarding. Anything else like pistols/rocket launchers/ship mounted weapons should pass through.

Seems to be closely related to T229
checked it out for other error messages, seems only the "insufficient power" appears in the wrong sector.
Duplicate of T207
It seems to be way worse watching it as astronaut than sitting in the build mode of that ship. You have to go around 200m/s to notice it in build mode view and 50-100m/s for the astronaut view
seems to be 20 per click per linked module now.
Side note: this is about a proper error message: "you're placing a block down when not aligned, orientations will not correspond with build preview" or something like that should suffice.
In T174#16888, @Drakkart wrote:turret barrel is able to destroy turret body as well as any other entity up the hirarchy it often just shows 0 damage because 10 damage on a 2k armor block results in 0 damage but the systems behind notice it (pierce).
