How have those mobs been spawned ? from Admin menu or through a command line
What was spawned (if not a normal game asset, could we get the blueprint?)
i have spawned a lot of crap from old power without it beeing going balistic and going hostile. i doubt the spawn itself was the cause.
have those mobs been spwaned into power2.0 before without problems ?

I've been having this issue on our multiplayer server, LvD. When using a power 1.0 ship with several turrets on it, attacking pirate stations and pirate ships, the select-fire mode is shooting at empty space rather than the intended target. The shots are coming out of the turret at 90 degree angles rather than shooting straight. I have 2 stop turrets on the left and right side of my ship. When attempting to hit a target directly in front of me, the stop turrets point straight at the target, then their 90 degree angle shots hit my own ship and stop me from moving! And all damage turrets miss. So I am unable to do any damage to the target in front of me.

This may have been related to an issue where players in a "build" sector would create a shop and try to sell items to NPC's. These build sectors are about 19 years worth of distance away from the main galaxy. Players in these build sectors have creative mode on. As the trade ships were traveling to the main galaxy, it would crash people's client's when it attempted to draw the trade line across the massive distance.

Turret axis are not compatible with rail systems, so I am inclined to believe they do not contribute to this bug. Also, your rotator arrow is not facing any of the adjacent rail blocks.

i build this ... and it rotates without a problem on a station.

Last tested in v0.200.274.
Can no longer reproduce as of v0.200.274. Weapons fired in free-cam mode will now fire directly forward as they did before this development cycle.

I tried replicating the issue with the same setup before sending, but was unable to reproduce the results. It may have been due to the sector boundary as you suggested.
Can you upload that ship + its dock you could reproduce it with?
And what is your sector size setting (default is 2000) and the distance of how far that dock was away from your actual rail?

I just tried to replicate the results, with two standalone ship cores, and got another unexpected result:
That's right. I directly jumped from one ship to another. Neither ship was docked to anything else. I can try it again and see if you need confirmation.
Did you jump from ship to ship ... and nowhere was a station involved ? (even as dock for one of the ships?)

Can't reproduce, but I know that someone else had a similar issue. Most likely a file is not updated properly, or is not updated at all causing missing values.
Merging this task with your previous one, we can try to work this out in your forum thread.

Reinstalling the game worked for some reason
