Starmade | Turret Orientation Desync
Open, HighPublic

Description

When a turret is manually docked (or entered from the mothership?) the turret spazzes into a very odd orientation that is only seen from serverside i.e. by other players, clientside the turrets appear completely fine, however block placing is touchy and AI cannot control the turret properly.

This issue is reset by resetting all turrets in the mothership structure menu (sometimes C on the turret barrel works), however this solution does not prevent the issue happening again with another or the same turret.

I do not remember what the state of this issue is in SP.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Manually dock a turret, I honestly don't know what other conditions are a prerequisite since it seem to be random
  2. Observe it, it appears fine, and you can turn it manually
  3. Try to turn on its AI to shoot or try to build in certain areas and the attempt will fail completely.

Should hopefully be easy to see, I believe I saw something like this happen already to some of my PD turrets, not 100% sure as that was in SP.

(0.200.172, but I am very sure this was present before power update) Additionally, docked parts on turrets can spasm out into very odd orientations. However, these cannot be reset as "reset turrets" does not reset fixed docks. As such, the docked parts have to be deleted, or they will undock in that weird orientation, which 99/100 times is clipped into the turret, causing mass chaos.
