thats a missunderstanding i think.
fot this towork you have to close the general chat and open another channel on the hud in full mode.
that can be a private empty one that can be moved out of view.
i think thats how it works

Nope I just rebooted serv+client and it didn't happened again since then. But it was so abrupt when it occured that I prefered report it in case of someone else got something similar. But you may lower this or even close it since I didn't got anything suspicious at launching since and it didn't happened again (if it's happen again we still could re-open it)

I actually C-aligned (as astronaut) and spawned in a station via blueprint that was at least 45 degrees off horizontal once. This only happened once though and I was never able to reproduce it. All subsequent station spawns while C-aligned were aligned perfectly.

The results when firing at different block types differ wildly. When hull/armour/power capacity blocks are hit almost no performance impact can be seen on SP or MP (Craftau server has much better hardware than my machine) while hitting power reactor (and to a lesser extent shield capacity) blocks causes the performance issue on SP or MP.

Sorry, one precision I forgot : the "0% loaded" with Schine logo at the bottom right appeared only after I ALT GR+CTRL+DEL and succeded to reach desktop; before it was just a pure empty blackscreen.

I am unable to replicate, possibly a video adapter specific bug. Mine is an AMD Radeon HD 6700. anyone who has a GeForce GTX 960/PCIe/SSE2 adapter should try.

The effect is multicoloured depending on the angle, it can go from green to red depending on the angle. which is why i said it seems like a rainbow split effect

The effect is less pronounced with bloom turned on, but when i turn bloom off i get the white background in my screenshots XD

also, the screenshots are giving white backgrounds now, since the update, when before i could take proper ones. i have tried tweaking settings but cant seem to find a fix. turning on bloom seems to generate the black background as usually

That isnt a proper screenshot made from inside Starmade.
i cant see anything usefull on it, sorry its only 371px × 204px and 17Kb in size.
and it is taken with a broken screenshot function which should have been fixed some time ago
(the white background)

More than one user on chat seemed to have this problem. here is a link to an image showing the problem Link to Picture. The picture was taken directly from starmade and was not reformatted in any way, as it looks like that in game
