Starmade | Change resolution ingame cause troubles

Description

While playing Starmade fullscreen mode, I change my 1920x1080 to 1300xSomething and came back to 1900xSomething.

While the loading when returning to the 1920 that things happen : black screens during few millisecond and then game came back as windowed during 20-50ms and then attempted to return fullscreen but failed and came back windowed and re-attempted fullscreen etc.
So it rendering something like a weird infinite loop of blinking between the screen of SM windowed+desktop during 50ms versus 50ms other of kind blackscreen==>fullscreen switch animation but failed so back to desktop.
It's the 1st time I saw software acted like that ever, it was like if Starmade was minimized and then launch in loop maximization.

I try ALT+TAB but nothing, I was force to ALT+CTRL+DEL to kill the process.

What is the max Res your Video adapter can do?

The max I can do (and recommanded by windows) is 1920x1080, real colors 32 bits, 60 hertz. I use a 22 inch LCD TV as screen (don't know its model tough).

I am unable to replicate, possibly a video adapter specific bug. Mine is an AMD Radeon HD 6700. anyone who has a GeForce GTX 960/PCIe/SSE2 adapter should try.

The crazy switching windows didn't seem occures anymore (SMS v0.30.7)

But instead I got the SM client running the gaming session crashing silently (closed & disappear without warning from processes) when i tried to put an improper resolution (1280x1024 instead of 1920x1080) while the server client still running and saying I was "ingame" (with lot of pings though). But I got only the java.exe server from the server in processe "apps" section the other one from the gaming session was relegated for whatever reason to the "background processes"

When I attempt to start game with this improper resolution nothing happen. Only server could be launched but the gaming interface never initiated.
So I was force to edit the settings.cfg and put back manually the 1920x1080 resolution in order to be able to launch the game again.
