Tested, does not occur in vanilla config. I noticed missiles do seem to pass through the station and then 'explode' on contact with the player, but in every instance I observed this I still took 0 damage anyway

Sorry, my bad I made confusion between the blue symmetry and the green one. So yes I used very often the blue one and never the green one.
I confirm template method rotation too still occure at 0.19556.

Alright, going to reject this task then.
Happens for both beams and cannons but I'm unable to see a pattern in it.
If cannons or beams have more than penetration depth per group, it seems that some damage is lost if multiple instances have to be added up to kill a block.

Another point in the list of sector border crossing issues.
However this may be a side-effect of the displacement bug (T8).
If you point it to your steam install it will use it, however, yes it has a totally different set of settings and is not related to the previous launcher.
Steam should have a right-click menu and allow "Open with beta launcher". This should use it.
Last tested version : 0.19556
I don't think it's about ship speed either, I think it's more about if Starmade process is busy to load things or not. Fact is when I tried and exploited T1053 (pictures above are from that test) my logs were flooded by errors and Starmade got difficulties to load sectors. I took severals screens to illustrate it and more than 90% of them were messy like that.
In comparaison, usually, when I idling with no big objects, no planets, asteroids around which could drop the fps and fills the process load, it's just reach 50% of failure for F5 and 5~15% failure F6 screens. Since that I assume if java process is busy, the screensave quality have more chance to be bad.
I'm sorry I am now just getting back to this.
As per SmilingDemon's comment I did in fact make a mistake in selecting the wrong java installation.
I never thought to check this as I do not currently have a 32 bit java installation, I'm not sure why I even have files in this location other than maybe a "borked" un-installation.

This bug doesn't seem to exist in the newer version of Starmade. So I guess it's fixed.
I was in a homebase being attacked a few days ago and this was not occurring, but I will test it again. Im thinking this only occurs with modified configs as well though, mind posting your server config up here?
did you make sure you didnt by accident choose the x86 version (programs (x86) folder ) ?
i made that mistake and it then isnt staring with the 64bit Launcher settings
putting up for grabs for someone with MAC OSX and Steam to see if it works at one point.
this need more information. or a way to a solution.
Will try to add a solution soon.
(however cannot send it in queue this way)
Thanks for reporting but we already have this one, duplicate of T120
Hm, still can't reproduce unfortunately. I tried your exact same setup and made sure to check both unfactioned entities and factioned ones.
Putting in queue then.
Well Anti-Aliasing works again for my GTX 970... Bloom enabled or disabled makes no difference.
Might have been faulty nvidia drivers since I'm using a more up to date one? Can anyone with previously not working AA try again?
I really have doubts high speed is related to this issue. We had plenty of them in the past were people sat still.
After asking around, this is completely intended. meta-data has no group information which makes it impossible to implement this without a very expensive redesign of the whole block data system.

The test server tends to run on the latest dev build. I recommend having a second folder with the starmade launcher in it set to dev.

"Mirror Cubes Function" Being ignored isnt the issue, its outright locking slabs into incorrect orientations after being rotated, as shown in the GIF.
Yeah, that's right. I haven't found any other problem with this yet.
Hm, I see. This is a small inconsistency then. It shows "Own" in red because your faction is an enemy to the one you're looking at, that's intended and seems logical to me.
seems to fixed
going to test
also, is the server 1 build ahead or what? cause i cant get in cause of the difference in builds
nick btw is djthekiller and i can also log in as Dustin, Dustin is my alt
