create an entity,
dock another entity to it
put a flip flop connected to a delay or any other type of signal (havent tested all logic blocks with this) and connect the delay/other logic gate to the flip flop and activate the flip flop,
you get the null pointer error, and when you relog, you find that everything you have done after you have gotten the null pointer, it never really happened,
and also, seems that you dont get disconnected, you just keep getting the error consistently

I cant reproduce that
please provide a bluepeint that causes this problem
and the logfile from the crash (from starmade\logs)
did you use "create docking" when you tried this ?
no, i did not use create docking when i did this, i have made logic torpedoes in the past, but after i tried it on a server, it seems that i get a null poiner
and, i even tried it on several servers, and i get the same thing, and when i go to singleplayer, it seems that when i activate it, it wont reactivate, i can connect other logic blocks and then activate them, but it continues to give me the null pointer even after i remove the logic blocks, and usually the game wont let me place the blocks, but it lets me place them, then it gives me the null pointer after i activate them
do you have that on a server or can you try to build it on our testserver somehow?
could make it easier to communicate the details.
Logfiles are being found under starmade/logs .. just delete everything in that logfolder.
then startup the game save a blueprint of the thing that causes the crash when activated.
then crash the game.
now get everything from the logs folder and the saved blueprint folder of your sample, zip that all and attach it here.
also, is the server 1 build ahead or what? cause i cant get in cause of the difference in builds
The test server tends to run on the latest dev build. I recommend having a second folder with the starmade launcher in it set to dev.
Open launcher, click options in the upper left, open the drop down "Build Branch" and select DEV. (assuming you are using old launcher)
