Starmade | New Launcher Custom Java Installation Fails To Launch Game

Description

Note: I am currently using only 64 bit java installation.
I am not sure if the launcher for some reason is looking for a 32 bit only installation.
Also my java version is newer, may also be a factor.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Press "Option" Button on main launcher screen.
  2. Under Java Settings - Press "Browse"
  3. Navigate to folder location where "java.exe" is located.
  4. Press "Select Folder" option in windows folder browse dialog.
  5. Confirm settings in launcher - Text changed from "-- Using bundled Java version --" to "-- Using custom Java install --
  6. Attempt to launch game. Launcher closes, game does not start.

Does it start with the bundled java version?
Can you possibly check if the game generates logs_?

did you make sure you didnt by accident choose the x86 version (programs (x86) folder ) ?
i made that mistake and it then isnt staring with the 64bit Launcher settings

I'm sorry I am now just getting back to this.
As per SmilingDemon's comment I did in fact make a mistake in selecting the wrong java installation.
I never thought to check this as I do not currently have a 32 bit java installation, I'm not sure why I even have files in this location other than maybe a "borked" un-installation.
