Be aware that if the sector is unloaded and you try to relog to that sector until somebody else (in game!) loads that entity, your game will instantly crash with NullPointerException.

Seems to be a duplicate of T1082 but I'm not sure, both reports did not have a log included so can't check if it is indeed throwing the same nullpointer. Could you provide a log? Go to your starmade/logs folder after crashing and take the latest log.txt.0
Drag and drop that file into the comment section. Please do not copy paste its text content into a comment.
New details.
The issue seems to be directly related to faction blocks.
It works just fine if the receiving entity and the docking entity are not factioned, but factioned entities actually cause the bug.
Hm, still can't reproduce unfortunately. I tried your exact same setup and made sure to check both unfactioned entities and factioned ones.
I'll probably send it in queue since the logs do seem to be enough, just wished I could reproduce it.
This bug doesn't seem to exist in the newer version of Starmade. So I guess it's fixed.
