Fine with that.
I originally had it as part of my last comment in T1157, but split it off into its own task because I felt it was less about the typos, and more about making things easier for users/support staff.
True...There's probably a reason for it but I'll put it in queue. Schema can reject it if he won't change it.
Merging with other task.
Personally I would love to remove the core entirely from docked ship parts to denote that they are actually part of the main ship and not ever able to operate on their own. So in that end you would not need any additional docks, as turrets and ships can easily use the same dock and you denote a ship part from removing the core but that's really it's own suggestion and more or less off topic but I think I'll vote no.
@Sethroph .. your logfile is from a server start. so i do assume its the same effect as Croquelune described, where the dedicated server start wipes the settings.cfg back to default. i too cant remember that that was ever the case.

As a workaround, have two installations, one for the server, one for the client.
As a suggestion for a possible solution, the server should keep its settings in the respective world directories; that would also allow several universes with different settings. Ideally that should include the blueprints and custom config xml files as well.
after reading the post again i figured that the three dockers is unnecessary. however the ship part one is something that could work. think of this as a partial suggestion.
We'll have to take a look at it again, there's already a task about it so merging them.
Was fixed before release.
blockBehaviorConfig.xml (and its derivatives):

It's happen to me with 100% chance each time I use the starter.exe (old launcher) for launch "dedicated server" and then open another starter.exe for launching the game. While in game all my settings and keyboard shortcut are reset. So it's both settings.cfg and keyboard.cfg which are impacted. I'll bring the log next time I'll launch my private MP.

Having 2 dockers would suffice (I think)
1 for normal
1 for decoration stuff on ships that would be part of the ship.
please just delete that log insert and drag and drop the whole file into the posting ... do not copy paste the content
Yeah I would love to have a way to denote that certain docked entities are part of that ship and should be treated as such and not docked entities but I'm not sure having three different dockers is the solution.
I'm using El Capitan and the log is below:
Support problem .. or fixed in on eof the hotfixes
no reply
assume new launcher fixes that
not a general issue

do we need to create a thread on SMD first then link it to the council suggestion? would that be a conflict of interest? Do we go looking for a thread with our specific suggestions then? What if none exist? Do we create a thread then ask another councilor to make a council suggestion? isn't that a little redundant?
This is a very weird situation that i figured we'd run into sooner or later. Personally i thought i'd be the first one to do this since I got a boat load of ideas that I'm holding off on cuz i'm not sure if doing this is right or wrong.

With 8K sectors here, and 128 sector jump distance, we are no longer observing a shortened jump distance, for the past (at least) two updates.

sorry for the late reply. no tried what you suggested still no sound
are you talking about the Login at the start of the Launcher or
about the Uplink to the Registry for validation to game servers ?
Girders have been in a build before yes.
