Starmade | Legacy Launcher Doesn't Work

Description

I can open the legacy launcher just fine. When I hit "Start Game" the launcher closes and nothing happens.

sounds like a support problem to me

please check if java is properly installed on your system.
make sure you do use a 64bit Version a 64 bit OS (i dont think there are any other OSX versions .. right?)

I did. Both JRE and JDK are installed and up-to-date.

is there being a log.txt.0 file created in your install folder /logs ?

if yes add it here please

Well he had a few issues with hooks to system java on OSX, please try the beta launcher.

Get the currently latest version from here.
By using the bundled java, we could fix some issues the old launcher could not bypass.
So please give it a try, and if it works, we can close this case, as the "current" one will be deprecated soon.
