The turrets behave fine, as they're just aiming for missiles that have stalled. The real issue is that some missiles have stalled for some reason, if you're able to consistently reproduce this, please upload your logstarmade.0.log after encountering missile stalling. Say something in chat too like "missiles are stalling" so it's easier to find in logs.

Yep - had this once too. Tried every way possible in order to convert these back into something useful. Shops didn't buy them, Weren't able to place them, Weren't able to merge the slabs through trying to place them down and using multiblock picker.
Duplicate, merging tasks.
Well, can't reproduce it but at this point I'm not really surprised...These GL Exception issues happen seemingly random for players or if you're able to reproduce it consistently, it seems only you can do that and anyone else is just fine.
Might depend on GPU drivers but as both you and me are using Nvidia, I'm not entirely sure what's happening in your world compared to my test setup.
Hopefully I'm able to reproduce. If you hold F1 + F2 at the same time, you can often force a GL_Invalid value to happen in case you want to give it a shot.
Good find!
Updating information a bit, putting in queue.
Thanks for the useful feedback but unfortunately no luck with reproducing it myself, fired the weapon constantly for more than 5 minutes. Every shot did damage and no exception found in the log files.

It is extra confusing, as cloning the design from an existing blueprint doesn't have this problem. (I do this all the time, as I only rarely deconstruct to design)
(yes, yes, yes, I'm aware you all want to get rid of blueprints, that does not negate the simple fact that cloning the design from a blueprint doesn't have the problem)

The current stacktrace is old and is probably not relevant anymore.
Break off crashes still happen though.
Awesome! Found an existing of the break off issue but it's a bit outdated. Will merge the tasks together and update the original one.

Yes, disabling break off appears to fix this issue, thanks for the feedback :)

Did you see that happen in the current release, or the latest devbuild? If it's one of the dev builds, it's an unwanted side effect of the fix for T161

Yes it is.

Bah, was fine for 2 hours but then suddenly it was back again or at least something closely related to it.

In order to get some more information about this crash, we need you to upload your log file here. The logfile we need is named logstarmade.0.log and is located in your ./StarMade/logs directory.
Reproduce this problem, and after that crash, upload that logfile (make sure to upload that file before restarting the game, or else the file will be overridden).
Drag and drop the file in the comment box here on Phabricator to upload it.
