Well, might have found a hint at what starts this flood. Does not appear consistent across entities - changes from ships to stations, depending upon when I clear client cache and relog.
Went ~12 hours, no problem, and then the crashes started again. No changes on my end, server had been sailing pretty nicely all day, with player peaks up to ~15.

Logs of crashes from T1676
did happen on the testserver .. and that one always had default sector sizes .. right ?
Still not able to replicate it here, after the sector change hotfix. Have your sector sizes returned to normal @John?
Please ignore/close this ticket.
Workaround suggested by SmilingDemon:
We've got the same problem for all users of our server , our logs are spam with 140 000 line of this message in less than 2 minutes.
I will try replicating this today - although my clients haven't crashed since the 5k sector size fix. When the crash was occurring a full 0-19 cycle of the logs spanned about 5 minutes of time though, and appeared (confirmed with a grep exclusion search) to truly be full of nothing but the received mod string in the original writeup.
Can you include log files of those crashes?

Well just found out something interesting about the Current and Trade Permissions bug end of this.

same thing when i do reimport it.
maybe for some reason its not possible to export that stuff ?
Hmm, I had just run an export while visiting that sector for the first time, and seeing the lag spike. Since its been ~12 hours, with one scheduled server restart during that time, here's another export.
did you force save and then made an export ?
or waited until the lag spike was gone ?
The two involved players have not relogged since the lagoff, but I will reach out to them if/when they do.
That's odd, and not what I'm seeing in our world. I'll grab & upload a video when our player count drops low for the day.
loading in that sector shows a lot of broken asteroids .. and pretty small ones. No collisions however
A possibly related element, as suggested by @SmilingDemon in slack: two players did in-fact login at seemingly the same time, at near the same sector, when the lagoff began.

open the settings.cfg with a text editor
search for these lines (likely at the end of the file) and change them into this
When is this going to be fixed? I literally can't play the game until it is.
Fungal Growth should be named "Fungal Growths" since there are several shrooms.
Power supply details menu :
more or less the same effect as T168
only that it happens to all blocks adjaced to consoles ... but not to pipes

Are you using the old launcher or the new one?
(If using the old one, please try the new 'beta' one from our page.)
Noticed the same thing with my big shipyard. although a bit less severe than yours.
Not sure how "fixable" this is, it's just collision detection that brings your performance down.
Merging with other task.
A new one for the list (taken from the translation pack):
Can't reproduce. I believe what you saw was caused by another issue.
There's a bug where your fleet doesn't appear at the sector where it supposedly should be. It's not a severe issue though since just unloading and loading that sector again should fix it.

Video of this occurring with a rail docker and a salvage beams
hey, umm. i actually have seen several incidents of players who are afk falling through their floor. and they have mass, physics, and all that, along with the spawn shop npc. it seems like you can fall through i dont know how though
I've just tried totally deleting my game folder and all related data, then reinstalling everything, the issue still persists. Files are attached, I hope someone else has some idea
