I found an error in the suggestion, which I fixed. I also added a section about rotational symmetry, but that's optional. Both is listed under "Edit 2".

I'm not in the council, but can I go ahead and recommend integration with the trading system (if it's feasible), so that mass orders for blueprints can be made from other shops via the Trading Guild delivery service?

I'm still having this issue. I destroy my enemies and cannot salvage the corpses of their ships. They deserve to be mined.

I have 8.00 gb of ram and I'm using an Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3700 @ 1.60 GHz my GPU is a Intel(R) HD Graphics
Happens for me with both OpenAL on and off and affects power auxiliar explosions, too.
Please add a logfile from after one of those crashes (to be found in the logs folder of your starmade install directory)

I use a GTX 960, and I get a similar effect.
