Fix confirmed for all OS
-QA Testing-
Fixed on linux, and windows.
Tested at ranges from 40m up to 2000m and none of described effects were observed. The missiles connected and did damage every time. Were you firing at something on the border of a sector?
Interesting issue, However, with the recent change to 25% there needs to be some counter balance. This could also promote tactical targeting instead of derping the mother ship itself.
I shall conduct my testing shortly, However, Note that I know this to be true from my countless ally misfires after weapons trials. The ai simply does not update.

I don't use controllers or joysticks but when I'm in a mode that removes mouse control of ship turning like chat or build or shop menu sometimes the ship will drift its rotation but its sporadic in occurrence.
[2016-01-20 20:16:41] GL_ERROR: GL_INVALID_OPERATION
It's fine for windows and megacrafter127 checked linux.

Well it seems that at the moment I cannot provoke same incident again too.. I guess it was "read only" fault , or run as administrator helped too.. if it hapopens i will send log here...thanks for assistance

rejecting
pushing in queue with logfile info
This then:
crshed it again(20.1.2016), so here´s the log:
I can't confirm, seems to work like it should.
I can't reproduce unfortunately. Can you give us the crash log? It's located in the Starmade/logs folder, give us the log.txt.0 (sort by date to be sure) after crashing and not rebooting your game. Drag and drop the file into the comment field to share.

Not fixed, at least on ubuntu linux 14.04 32bit. Tester information field updated with new log. Does occur on 64bit ubuntu linux 12.04 too, unless the environment path is manually set to the launcher's install folder beforehand. Thus assuming the cause to be a path resolving issue.
add it as a comment
Something tells me Minecraft wont encounter this crash, because each and every single time, its an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION from Java, and I personally have never seen this from minecraft... Ya, I am having no trouble opening up minecraft...
Can I edit one little detail about the task? It wont let me...

What errors get thrown in ubuntu 14.04 x64? Is it trying to launch the game before downloading it? Are there any missing files/dependencies, ex ~/dep/java/jre1.7.0_80/bin/java?
I've so far been unable to reproduce the behavior.
Update: I removed "read only" status of whole instalation folder and set that game runs as administrator. I then managed to enter build mode, activate missle computer and build and connect my tubes , but game crashed when I entered core room where computers are located.
It was intended back when I asked about it but that was before shield sharing, seems to be a good idea to put that in now.

Can you try again without V-sync? V-sync drops to 30 fps if it can't maintain 60 fps properly.
Will need to check if the same goes for other weapons like beams or missiles.
Hm yeah, tried it out on the simplest setup possible, 45 cannons, 10 damage each on basic hull with no armor HP. I've destroyed 390 HP of the 450 HP.
Thought we had it reported already but can't find it.

Can't reproduce, are you sure it's not a different thing causing it? Perhaps this one http://phab.starma.de/T1046?
I have not played minecraft in a long while, and because it runs on Java, I think it would be the perfect test to see if it is a problem with my Java install... I will run the test this afternoon...
Please start your game again and crash it once more ... then search for the log folder within the Starmade install and add (drag and drop) the latest (with the time stamp from that crash) log.txt.0 file to this Report.
