Duplicate, merging tasks.
Assuming the logs are enough at least, if not put it back on open.
UTC is 8 hours ahead of PT, which means the event happened at 18:49 in the logs
We have to find out what exactly happened at the time. The stack trace shows the server to transmit chunks. So maybe someone was uploading some kind of exploitation ship/station...
Duplicate task, issue is caused by undoing linking when it's still busy linking that entire group.
Shift + V and Shift + V again before it's finished will cause it to seemingly go in circles. Given enough time it gets to a point where it finally stops.

Good find but it belongs in another task, without this I would probably have missed it during QA though so thank you.
Duplicate task, will merge and update the other one since it's a little bit outdated.
I just checked and noticed that there's also Ctrl + Shift being used as a shortcut.
It's something we can't fix or improve upon since every Windows User will have their own setting.
Here's how to change it, or to turn it off:

Needs more information
An old bug, but I can't find a task about it so I'm assuming it isn't reported, or it was back on Redmine and didn't get exported.
That should be fixed in the latest release (0.199.472). In case it's not, please answer in T2261. Merging both tasks together.
If you're using 0.199.464, please update to the latest release (0.199.472). The one you're using has an issue with saving/loading.
If you still have the issue then, please upload a blueprint of that ship.
Great thanks! I watched your youtube video and it may be a cross-sector thing.
Your target was in sector 63 64 66, but you were shooting it from 63 64 67 at some point
Tried it out but the link is still there.
Both from a chest to a rail docker, and from a rail to a chest.
I did do a /force_save before I exported it though.
Happens for all the multi-slots.
Anything else, including the combined shapes slot is fine.
Yep duplicate, the text that I fill in manually (copy pasted that display multiple times afterwards) is fine after loading the blueprint, the rest wasn't.

Seems to be a duplicate or closely related to T118.
Still having this issue? I've checked on both the test server and a normal one and it appears for everyone. Maybe you can upload your log, could have some extra info in case this only happens for a few.
I will upload blueprints and logs as soon as I can. It may be a few days before I have time.
Unfortunately the youtube video seems to have been removed because it was too long. Could you upload a blueprint of the ship and target you were using where you saw this issue happening?
Doesn't really feel like a bug to me, it's just that the replace filter doesn't auto link anything that you're linked to with C, nor does it keep the link in if you replace a linked block with the same block type since it's basically removing the original one (which includes the connections) and replaces it with whatever you have selected.

After the most recent update, when I spawn in the broken ship, the rails work perfectly without deleting the rail speed controller.
Tested on Debian 8.0 64bit, java 1.8, headless server:
- set WORLD = TEST in server.cfg
- only server-database/test was created.
This suggest the issue is only present on singleplayer.
From Linux, upon creation of the world "MyCapsWorld" (Linux), I can spawn in no problem...

Great, could reproduce the problem.
I just uploaded the SMENT here. If you can't access the SMENT let me know and I will find a public server to spawn it on.

Do you have that station on a server?
I'd like to examine it and find the cause.
I have been experimenting with this issue, and I think it has to do with distance - though I'm not sure if it's measuring distance from the core or the docking module. If I align to the rotating core, I will stay aligned and rotate with the core until I reach a distance of about 50m, then I get a "gravity neutralized" message and alignment ceases. 50m is a short distance to work with if you are designing a rotating ring on a space station. I hope this threshold increases - or is measured in the future from the surface of the object, not the core.
will look into this
