Can you try to load the old universe again and give us the logstarmade.0.log right after getting the message?

Hi SmilingDemon
you are right. I created a new local universe and had no problems with loading it.
I copied all templates and blueprints from the old into the new universe and can use most of my work again.
But the work of the last week (since last /save of my acttual projekt) is lost.
I have a little bit of a bad feeling, cause i dont know, what caused this loss.
more a support problem than a bug
everything transparent next to an open door block isnt being rendered

I would test this, but I don't have time right now. :P
Yes .. killing all metadata would make it possible to fix that problem.
OK, so after conversing with AtraUnam about this, she also encountered the bug before and the only way to save something of the ship was taking the Data folder of the blueprint and replacing the Data folder of a blueprint of a core with it. Essentially deleting all block metadata and attached entities. That makes the rails work again, but resets all blocks connections and settings on the entity.
it also ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY happens on large entities with many docked entities. I suspect metadata corruption.

Here are the stations that disappear on my server. This is only happening to the neutral stations but I provided all the defaults just in case.

Oh, before reading the description I thought this was the timestamp bug that claimed that things like mail came from the past...
Odd, haven't seen this before and I lose connection often, should be easy to check.

not really a bug

Ah, ok. Although I'm able to replicate on a macOS as well, with a totally fresh/new install: only change to settings was disabling the tutorial (as that still causes a crash), and switching to windowed mode. My initial/earlier report was a Linux system (which also uses windowed mode).
OK .. your settings causing it for me too
Does not appear GPU-specific, as I can replicate this error on a Mac as well (Intel GPU), single-player only. Same steps as illustrated above.
Emptied the client log folder, and replicated this error in SP only. Also tried the same with an empty/new world, and I can still replicate the error:
Login to SP world, exit to menu, login again, crash.
Not sure it's my specific GPU, but discussions in Slack had people mentioning it so I figured I'd mention mine. One other player mentioned using a Radeon R9.
I only removed the AI block after finding that deactivate turret was innefective.
cant reproduce
must be that fancy GPU of yours ^^

Your issue was mentioned in another task, edited it a bit to make it more clear. Merging tasks.

"Game doesn't work" sounds more like a game breaking bug than a support issue to me.
Looks like key registering got "stuck", alt tabbing is usually a good way to attempt to unstuck it which may have been the case here. I'm using AZERTY layout too and a non standard config but never got this behavior related to this.
That stopped it from briefly displaying the StarMade window at 1280x720 on boot, but it did not fix the mouse issue.
Removing the AI block doesn't do anything except make the "deactivate all AI Turrets" not work properly for that turret.
Turret AI is stored in the ship itself, not the AI block.
