@SmilingDemon: is this issue affecting another platform, or is it still resolved?

I don't think this is possible without forking the greenworks library.

I will address this when consolidating the options windows (T1724)
The update sanitizes each foldername in turn, stripping out invalid characters.

Interesting, but doesn't look harmful (nor common).
Does this apply to the new launcher?
If not, I will close this ticket.
Support is already present.
Without moderation, I do not want community content shown publicly on the launcher.

While I sort of agree, two things:
- the text will not fit. Click Dedicated Server and watch that space get eaten.
- and more importantly: I'm planning on consolidating all of the launcher settings into a single settings window, which will make this ticket irrelevant anyway.
That said, the icon is apparent enough for now, so I'm closing this.
Steam doesn't delete modified files when using Delete Local Content..., only those files matching what it installs. Therefore, if you update (or downgrade) the game manually using the launcher, any files it updates will be preserved when you uninstall the game via Steam.

Correct, there was only one link that did this.

Note: This clears the overwrite warning after switching install paths, but does not addresss T1096 (official support for concurrent branch installs); that functionality will come later
Fixed in v2.0.7!

I believe this a duplicate of T1604

That isn't on the registry.
The Support section is already included.

This task should be in the registry.
Also, it's fixed.

From the longer log, it looks like this could be a graphics driver (or input driver) issue. Are they up to date?
Jun 14 2016
I've removed the --steam requirement for the automatic install path, which should resolve this.
I also may have fixed the overlapping pages issue. I wasn't able to duplicate it, however, and couldn't find a cause.

Note: You do not need Steam installed to test this feature.
Jun 3 2016
Okay, Steam installs (--steam on a first/clean run) should automatically select the install directory now based on path:

The slider is green when set to a power of 2, and uses blueish teal otherwise.

Possible duplicate of T780?

Small update to this: null usernames are no longer accepted.
Let's go with "increase username sanity" instead and validate them across StarMade, the Registry, and StarMadeDock for consistency.
