Launcher | Beta Launcher - Starting Starmade with an invalid java location hangs
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

The launcher goes away but is still operating in the processes, but no error message comes up. I imagined that there would be a pop if you attempted launch with an invalid java attempted. This happened after I updated Java, and it removed the old installation.

moving to launcher development, I doubt starmade was ever correctly started in this case, and thus the launcher has to check if it had a valid executable.
