not fixed ... i think. behaviour is still wonky and unexpected for me

comming from this - switching to dev path

getting this ... where it still claims i have the latest version and i should update


toggle between dev versions and then choose the latest again caused this after switching back to release

Note: This clears the overwrite warning after switching install paths, but does not addresss T1096 (official support for concurrent branch installs); that functionality will come later
