Annoying unintended bug that disrupts gameplay flow.
I was able to reproduce this affect by switching between a shipcore and a buildblock on a station.

What was wrong with the way it was...If you don't want you computer to be reprogrammed you protect it with a block, no biggie. now nothing works.... out of all the real bugs out there..... you chose this "complaint" why not fix the permission module which is a real issue. AHHH

I am able to confirm this does happen.
Confirmed when connecting to OWN local hosted server (not single player) you get uplink request regardless of the fact you saved your login

Thanks for your helpful replies with this I should hopefully be able to reproduce the affect.

In T622#24062, @Speedyblupi wrote:The shipyard was just a long line with two c shapes at the end with the core anchor in the middle and the computer at the end. It was attached to a space elevator on a planet.
The problem started when I added and removed capacitors while in build mode on the ship (not using the shipyard computer) while my ship was docked. I'm not sure whether this was what caused it, but it's what I was doing when I first noticed the problem.
Now when removing power capacitors (or power reactors or thrusters) from anything (ship, planet, space station, etc) they aren't added to my inventory, and this is the case in build mode and outside it.
-Feedback- Unable to reproduce using steps list.

I require more detail to reproduce this affect.

I am still unable to reproduce this, However fellow tester, Spunkie is able to reproduce this affect and thus it would be better if he handle it or someone else that is able to reproduce the affect.

Lowering priority as this isn't a major issue.
Most of the stated issues have been fixed apart from one final bug:
Aug 27 2015
Having the same issues as Andy
After some debate it would seem this is an intended affect
Ok, After some testing it would seem we have the results and they are interesting
Attempting to test now, Though this might be a design flaw not a bug.

Retested in 0.19407 Dev Still happening "No ship docked" popup still reproducable however take note this does not mean you are unable to dock far from it just when you undock with a rail docker it will tell you that there isn't a ship docked
This issue hasn't been reported for a while now and I am unable to reproduce this affect myself....
Bug confirmed still a problem
Pulling this back as we have more reports of this still happening and i've tested in the latest the latest dev build- Unable to split stacks
Logging does impact performance nothing is done without loss however for such a game like this logs are 100% required without them no bug report would be reproducible or fixable and we would be in early access forever.
Please provide the file "graphcisinfo" from the folder called "logs" under the starmade folder and possibly what mac model you have
It would seem I am unable to reproduce and require more info and a few files
Now attempting to reproduce!

Possibly related to the same issue leaf blocks have when looking at them through glass
Reopening as undocking with a constructed design that has a rail docker on it still shows the popup
Forgot to set myself as assigned tester fixing now.
Assigning to low as this is a very low priority bug report and workaround possible by simply setting the volume from the launcher/ windows mixer
Bug report confirmed
Fix Confirmed the claimed systems fix themselfs after one autosave and then a turn after said autosave (I agree with brent the command that forces faction point turns should also autosave however this report is fixed)
Fix confirmed! able to undock and redock without any issues using both the core beam and rail docker (Might not be intended to be able to use core beams to dock but going to leave that alone)
Retested via provided steps and seems to be working. I was unable to get the create docking to stay on between shipcores.

Can you please provide more detailed steps as to what you did in order to create this affect?
I was able to load the design from blueprint or from creating a design and successfully spawn the ship via the shipyard with no such errorsMy issues were specifically with loading a design from a blueprint or loading a stored design from the shipyard block. Creating a new design ran into no issues. However, gonna test this again... This time probably in a different sector.

It is a rather minor issue.
Validated seen it myself via missiles atc it isn't very smooth at all and slows down when it nears edges.
