this is wierd.. I tried to reproduce this again,and it doesnt happen anymore O.o
Last time I was doing this,I gave an order to attack a certain sector 15 systems away,I admin teleported there,and they were there already waiting for me,but now.. they work fine,I am not sure what I messed up the last time that made it do what..it did hahaha
for easy replication spawn in a large ship with around 1.0 t/m then create a core and give it enough thrust for 2.5. the core will leave the other ship(s) in the dust.
enter any sector with a ship with rails on it and create a fleet, then select the option to add members
Not a single order changes it so I'm guessing it's just not implemented yet.

Can't reproduce. Once the fleet wasn't loaded, they still moved at a (faster than normal) pace. I timed it and it averaged out at 500m/s which is a lot faster than they should go, but they never teleported instantly to their destination. I checked their progress from time to time and they were there so not sure how to reproduce.

I was going to submit it as a feature request, but then I remembered that I'm not supposed to do that :P
A missing feature, might not be worth implementing depending on how different the travel times are, needs to be tested.

I found my missing entities at the point of origin of the fleet.
The attack sector box in the fleet orders menu says 'For the time being, only loaded sectors can be attack', it should probably say 'For the time being, only loaded sectors can be attacked'.
as of .19562 Large ships will accelerate normally again, however... there seem to be some issues with formations at this time.
Okay, did some more testing at my end. This only happens when the server shuts down. This can be a problem for SP-players.
Easy to test
Yes, but even then they have a significant lagtime before responding to a drastic change in acceleration by their flagship. They also don't even try to stay in formation if their flagship is moving more slowly than them.
