The sound issue may be related to this problem here:
Oh, do you have vsync enabled?
It's a new BP (only 2 update version old) and I don't do Search & Replace that early in BPs. Those Rotators where probably within the 1st 100 blocks (no logic at that point). I did however create the docking from the 'creating docking' in advanced build mode.

OK same issue new twist I still have this after the new hot fix, but it only happens if I launch it through steam. all is good any other way. as long as this is the case I will use the workarounds.
This is a support problem more likely
i think the BP is broken.

Drat. I gutted the original BP with the problem and my tiny schematic does not duplicate the error. I had been able to determine that the rotator did not disappear if I removed the pipe.. but the error reoccurred if I put the pipe back (I was trying to make sure I had not linked it in some bizarre way).
You see how clicking on the link opens a webpage instead of downloading the file? Using wget with that URL will download the HTML for the webpage instead of the file. Here is a link you can safely use with wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/47692480/libStarMadeNative64.so

this does tend to happen, even with my ultra high fps (slow on sp server) it doesnt happen as often, not for me, as i dont really get lag, (win 10)
hey umm, i have found that sometimes, when i relog on a server, i happen to lose my entire fleet, and any fleets around that have 0 ships in it when it had one or seven, so i have no idea if this helps, also a confirmed issue that me and Andy have been working on is that in fleets, any docked entity is undocked after traveling through even 1 unloaded sector

cmd output of that not working start
This was an issue another user had, he had tried to download the file using wget, and instead of getting the file it is just the download of the HTML page. Make sure it is the correct file size, it should be 142968 bytes
Auburn's hotfix file is not working for me (linux debian), here is the output after replacing the file:
-QA Testing-
64 bit OS and 64 bit Java, default memory settings, old launcher, hardware never caused a problem though hardware is a gigabyte 8 core dual bios system, 2 ram sticks (the other 2 ports are busted). and it looks like two objects are phased into each other.

What Hardware are you using?
what OS are you using? 32 or 64 bit?
old or new Launcher?
what did you set the memory usage in the launcher to?
moving it to resolved than .. and closing it after next release
yeah my config file doesn't change what so ever all of it reads as above. don't get what up with that.
oh sorry I don't have the config files change at all my sound just completely cuts out. i don't understand why. i think my issue is more related to another sound problem.
My hotfix file above is confirmed working, this will be included in the next update.

not an issue .. i can join that server just fine with the default 128 textures selected as it was in your logfile.
and the server isnt using any custom texture packs
maybe your game installation is broken somehow .

Identified the cause:

Update: Several more tries have continued this trend. Leave the darn Settings.cfg open at this point and resave it before every launch.
This task should be in the registry.
Also, it's fixed.
I've also experienced this bug. The setting "S_SOUND_SYSTEM_ENABLED" likes to disable itself.

Unfortunately, someone else needs to handle this issue.

I just started having this issue as well. i have reinstalled the game and it fixes for a short while then returns.
