the option is called 'show connections between logic blocks'. factories aren't logic blocks.
factories are more like storage blocks. but connections between storage blocks are not being shown with this option turned on.
so the option doesn't do, what it says.

also: if you connect factories with each other, connections are vissible, although only connections between logic blocks should be.
Intended, and useful when you have large factory chains you are trying to keep track of.

Please any diety listening fix this issue. This game could be the perfect blend of minecraft and homeworld if only my drone fleets had turrets that actually stay on them when the fleets go out on maneuvers. I spend half my time improving turret design and the other half of my time building fleets. Fleets with ships that have turrets. Right now they can't leave my homeworld's local space unless they do so one ship at a time. Or if I go out with the fleet myself. And even then one unit got too far away and had a turret 'accident'.

Merging with another task.
Got fixed along the way.

Could you upload your logstarmade.0.log when that happens? It's located in your starmade/logs folder, just drag and drop the file into the chat field to leave a comment and it will upload to here.
This task is a duplicate of T1024. And the issue was fixed using that report.
I have this issue too. When we decide to hold off on an update for our server, my steam client forces me to update.. which makes me have to downgrade.. and then when we move forward with the update, I have to then re-update. So, it takes 3 installs.
I mentioned this bug in the latest starmade update thread and schema hotfixed it. Long range beams are working good now.

I am afraid that this leak can and has gone above JVM specified in a single game as well, not going back to the main menu at all. But sure, I will give you a log file of me playing for hours.
Well, slightly going over the maximum memory is part of measurement errors, but it should not go far beyond that.
Sorry for the delayed response, system drive started failing.
Did this fall off the radar? I thought the comment above said a fix had already been generated. Please forgive any impertinence as I know there are far bigger fish to fry and this is really my first time using this, but this really gets in the way of my plans for galactic domination. :)
It's an issue with some block data not being cleaned up completely, merging this task with its original one.
Not a bug, it's just how they were made back then. You're right that it should change but that's a complete mechanic change.
And it's not just a multiple output one that has it. A single output with different number of shots (missile combo) or using multiple missile computers (1, 2 and 3 on your hotbar) result in the same thing assuming they hit their target at roughly the same time.
Let me know if you need a .ZIP instead.
I'll ask around, don't know much about the steam update process.
That server is using a custom config. The reference to the Light Bar used to be "LightBarLod" in the mainConfig.xml, but now it's "LightBar" which is why it can't find that on your Starmade.
It's something that server has to fix by updating their custom config. If they need help with that, they can contact me on SMD or send a support ticket here http://help.star-made.org/support/login

Should have been fixed.
Thanks for the feedback, will close it since I've got 2 other mac users that confirmed the fix too.
Any symbol that requires you to use Alt Gr to enter it, doesn't input anything anymore in input fields such as chat and search bars.
OK so basically Alt Gr doesn't work anymore.

I don't seem to belong to "Everyone knows", those shortcuts do nothing for me outside Starmade and I've never heard of that before either. I don't have a right alt either besides Alt Gr which is different in function, or should be at least. I've asked around and no one else knows about it either (doesn't work if they try). That's for qwerty, qwertz and azerty layouts.
Is this something specific to your keyboard layout? You didn't mention your OS but it can't be a Mac with that graphics card. Windows doesn't seem to offer something like this unless you use like alt codes which still work for me. No idea about Linux but I can't find anything about it when I search for it.
Can you elaborate on this a bit?
fixed in v0.199.433

Merging with another task.
No crashlog provided so I'm assuming it was the same issue as mentioned in another task, merging tasks together.
Is this still happening? I'm not sure if the Mac related input issue was fixed in 0.199.432b or c

Did you enable the "mirror cubes" function in advanced build mode?
Its off by default and they would get placed the same orientation as on the origin.
