I create new world for each update I download. so here goes.
Create new world, create Faction, spawn core, place 5 blocks long of grey hull and 3 blocks wide. press I for inventory, select creative mode, pull shootout rails to hot bar. close inventory, select number shootout rails were assigned to, move mouse to build area, no shootout rail showing up, I must place the block delete the block, scroll mouse wheel once, then replace block to see the new orientation.
Only the shoot out rails, pick up module and the pick up rails have this issue. They don't render in the advanced build mode preview window, nor do they render for the "preview block to build option".
Happens for Nvidia too

Yep, I can see it too now, I'll check other transparent blocks too.

-QA Testing-
Fix confirmed although there's something else I noticed. The preview (and block icon itself) of the Pickup Area shows the disabled version. When placed down it is the enabled one.
Pretty sure that was there before this bug task appeared though so should be unrelated.
