OK i did check. we have been talking about different things here. Your turrets do not have power storage on there own as far as i can see.
Power capacitors on docks not being charged is intended.

Under the rail docking section of the structure tab there's a button called "activate AI" or whatever. I know it works in this build because I've been using it extensively. I checked the turrets on my base and they were active as well. I also checked to see if it was an issue of not having enough mass enhancers and I found that I was 40k over the requirements.

Not talking about real ships, but rather designs. When I try to load a design that is too large, it loads and I get the "Design too large for shipyard" error, but I also get every single order button greyed out, including the one that should let me unload the design.

Nothing much to do about this.
This is how windows handles its windows and when it rezises the window it will of course no longer mathc to the choosen screen size
either set the taskbar to automaticaly disapear when not in use, or use windowed borderless mode / Fullscreen mode

Please take a look into your Logs folder within the starmade install
we do need the log.txt.x file from the time around that crash happened to determine what it may have caused.

Here is the testing done; it all works. in the video i start with the rail docker, it acts like the gif you loaded. are you sure you were using the core beam? the second is me using the core beam. so, if you are using the core beam and it is acting like the docking beam..... we got some more research to do..

However player has to enter flight mode while in the build block for this bug to appear, otherwise nothing abnormal occurs.

Default 64, 128 and 256 is fine; Pixel 64 is fine, realistic is, of course not, but is expected. Space king, what texture are you using and res?
