Starmade | Error in chat display with users with 2 "j"s at the start of their username

Description

Rare catching this one,

When playing on a server with a player with "jj" in front of their username, EG, jjabrahms, when they use the chat in the right pane they show up as "jjabrahms", however, when speaking in the general chat they appear as just "jabrahms"

In this case, jjmelon showcases this on the Shattered Skies server. It could be a resolution issue, but it also occurs occaisonally when a player not with jj in the username types just jj into the chat

confirmed while validated
checked lower case alphabet and only jj seems to produce this

  1. start a singleplayer game with a user name of "jjanything"
  2. open chat and post something
  3. will show up in system messages as "jjanything joined the game" but as chat line it will show like ".janything:chattext"
  4. if you put in "jj" as chat text it will show up in every "window" correctly but in the overlay it gets shown as ".j" any leading character including space removes that effect it seems
