previously submitted bug http://phab.starma.de/T533 and was informed that it is intended that cores produce power on their own in which case the bug is then:
cores do not generate power on their own when first placed down or after reloading them into memory via warp or restart
observations:
-when placing a core down and pressing tab+f6 the core will cycle power at a rate of 1e/sec yet it will reset, to its initial power before tab+f6 was pressed, when it generates ~ 25 energy
-the first energy cycle when using tab+f6 might not generate 25 energy before it resets but consecutive cycles will go 25e consistently from then on
-when reactors are placed and removed from a core the core will continue to generate 1e/sec without the "25e generated then reset" of the tab+f6 occurrence
-warping far enough to unload the core from memory or restarting the game will stop the cores from generating energy in both instances (reactor place and remove, tab+f6)
-use of the power supply beam or /power_drain -### will not stimulate the 1e/sec generation in a core
