Changing task info, user crashes due to EncryptionOperationNotPossible occuring when pressing on online play. Managed to resolve it by deleting the cred file in Appdata/Roaming/.Starmade

I had reported a bug really similar on the former site [http://bugs.star-made.org/issues/1904 - Tutorial: NPC-00's Radio versus Direct talks issues - Lucky path (trivial) and Powned path (game stuck) ]
I suppose the bug is still active but I can't test it since T748 - NPC-000 falling through floor still there.
In a nuts it's a reversed overlay of menu : the active menu is behind the inactive menu, so we can't push button of the active menu since it's not in foreground and we are stuck with 2 open menu which are unclosable.
Confirmed by user, sector size defaulting to 1000 meters caused unexpected behavior.
Seems fine to me.
Any idea what you did differently? Or do you have a blueprint about it?
Issue is most likely because your config reverts to default which gives missiles a bad range (1600 meters in this case). Check the issue again for next hotfix.
Putting in queue
I agree, something became really greedy between the transition of the 2 versions. On my side my connection has improved (download and upload speed improved) and nevertheless my localhosted have really hard time to be fluid (with the same settings ping pikes occures really often compare to the 197 version).

I'm sorry but this is something for support, can you make a ticket here http://help.star-made.org/support/tickets/new ? You can refer to this task so you don't need to fill it out all again.
It usually doesn't go over the initial memory unless it's needed, so that's why it stayed under 8GB since the GC cleaned up everything nicely.
Doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

Losing mass through moving cargo away from a ship is also a way to produce this.
I think it might happen in case of latency or lags.
Notice the version reported in graphicsinfo.txt (2.1) doesn't match what Apple says my hardware is capable of (4.1):

Duplicate, see its task how to reproduce.
New behaviour:
No links are made at all.
Here's one ! (Exception at line 19258)
No answer from author but I know 2 ways to reproduce it, and fixing it at the right place should kill any other ways.

Switching to a texture pack + res you've already switched to in the past of that same session, will not change correctly. The settings save but there's no reloading of the texture files going on.
Looks like this is sort of a known issue with intel drivers under OSX.
Can you next time include the entire log? Might depend on something that happened before the crash.

Found the issue.
I would also like to note that some of the values that it's defaulting to are not what I remember the defaults being. It's defaulting the sector size to 1000. I thought the default was supposed to be 2000, but I'm not positive. That may affect people's single player worlds.
Seems it has issues fetching the correct settings so it falls back to default. It's odd, I didn't see this before in one of the latest dev builds but it's definitely there now.
Can only reproduce it in SP. Any AI turret seems to throw classcastexceptions. The Any type seems to shoot from time to time though.
