This is occasional bug and you may have troubles with reproduction. If you want, I can upload gif or ship's blueprint.

I know this is extremely outdated and is probably already assumed to be fixed but I thought I would chime in and say that this issue is still occuring.
Alright, I have installed the version: 0.199.334(Latest)
build: 20161211_212818 Client.

are you able to make a clean install into a new folder using the last dev build and import the blueprint there to check again?
the nullpointer from the logs should have been fixed already.
Still works just fine in latest Dev Build
Log have been re-uploaded, seems like the Phabricator rolled back work progress.
Most likely from the excessive logging that is taking place. There is/was also an issue that the scavengers had no trading ship and that resulted in their trading fleets ending up with hundreds of combat ships.
Also a lot of logging in that case, enough to slow everything down.
Can't reproduce but I assume it has to do with the new categories. Keeping on open till I'm sure it's fixed or not.

Yep Created a new world to test on, I'll test it again if needed to see if I can cause it this patch but all the worlds I had on the dev build with this bug are from the last patch and the 0.199.303 patch.
did you cereated a new world for this to test on ?
if not .. how old is it and how often did you upgrade from an older version ?
hmm not sure what's going on now but it might have something to do with the NPC Factions and when they go to war. Something is going on that makes things kill over whenever there's a war going on but that might not be the only thing but it's a starting point at least.
Zipped up the most recent affected world, needless to say this bug is a world killer, totally locks you out of the world in question. Also if you've tried to get into an affected world in a session it prevents you from getting into others until you restart or repair install depending on the situation.

Yeah, phabricator is taking a lot of stuff with some sarcasm, and makes fun of it.

The "advice" mentioned is literally a joke. The developers who made Phabricator like to play with words and throw (obvious) jokes around which spices things up a little, makes this environment less strict and feel more lose like when you're marking all your notifications as read.
