Changing the the Icon into a box thing with dots on the side ... may work for the generic nerd ... but maybe not for everyone out there.

and isnt it a problem if you ban a too big part ?
basically you could kill the customers of one ISP in a specific area .. or am i wrong there ?

What Hardware are you using?
what OS are you using? 32 or 64 bit?
old or new Launcher?
what did you set the memory usage in the launcher to?

not an issue .. i can join that server just fine with the default 128 textures selected as it was in your logfile.
and the server isnt using any custom texture packs
maybe your game installation is broken somehow .
