This issue was already addressed in last release and should not occur any more.
It was due to names becoming too long on long dock-chains and a long initial ship name.
Can you still reproduce this, or was this some older log entry you just discovered?

After testing this a while, it looks like "trade guild" is spawning in simulation groups,
but response fleets do spawn at all.

Summary of problems:

  • T671 Some weapons do not cause the spawning of response fleets
  • T672 response fleets can spawn off by two sectors and thus never arrive at all (especially with high sector sizes, it is not helping to spawn them 200km away. =)
  • T673 not all MOBs have the MOB-tag in name, thus /despawn_all cant catch them anymore and free up the groups
