not only is the ship stun disabled but it now causes damage at it's epicenter that seems to ignore armor modifiers and the number of modules linked to the computer only changes the energy consumed per shot, it doesn't affect the "force". the "force" seems to have been turned into a damage rating as no pushing of entities occurs.

just tested in singleplayer on all 12 planet sides and had no issues with large offset drops to the planet core.
I've tested this further and it appears that it is the being kicked out of the ship due to overheat/system drop below 50% that is bugging the HUD and buildmode info window. In the test i did it seems that station buildmode is unaffected but ships, asteroids, and planets are. the target info window in the upper left still works.
Ok, my guess is in this instance a player was on the planets surface in a version previous to the fixed version when the server was shutdown to apply the newest version. When the server was started back up, the bug was noticed in the fixed version, leading people to believe the problem was not fixed ,when instead, it was just a bug saved from the previous version. This means that the bug has been narrowed down to logging out on a planets surface (saving) and not logging in (loading).

Tested out your ship model (http://phab.starma.de/F942) and the turrets behaved as you said. Further testing reveals that it may have more to do with the turret mass than the limiting block placement. I replaced the advanced armor with normal hull on one of the turrets and the movement performance of the turret has improved.
The turrets don't appear to be stuck but instead moving very slowly with an occasional rendering glitch causing that spastic shaking every now and then.
