when a missile breaks through a shield and damages the entity it leaves a pyramid of blocks starting from the missile contact point increasing in size further into the entity.

to reproduce fire a missile with enough power to overcome shielding and destroy several blocks at a 10 thick wall of blocks.
in my case i used 247000 missile modules linked on one computer and the station i fired upon was shielded with 1 shield recharger and no shield capacitor blocks.
