There's a lot more to this bug then "transparent blocks touching open doors have invisible faces" and it extends throughout the game to all sorts of symptoms of just some weird rendering order or some such.

Also in regards to the LoD system, pretty sure the community would rejoice if any kind of LoD chair/bench is added. The makeshift chairs look bad. Even Minecraft can do it better. (Stair block and two fences). I think it's been avoided until chairs with certain usefu integrated functions could be added. But I'd love just to have a prop or new generic LoD detailing blocks that could be be combined with other blocks to create something that somewhat resembles a chair.

I've had this and it was also with the ship menu, didn't post at first as I couldn't reliably reproduce it, had a couple of null pointer exits to menu but I could go back and do all sorts without it happening again.

Not sure if this is related but I'd had an issue before where launching a ship off a rail with shootout turned caused the ship to glitch into a zone where there were no stars and all around is just solid grey background.

I wonder if fixing this will fix the bugged rendering of cargo boxes through transparent blocks.

Also worth adding that mirroring materials from personal cargo on one sector side or another may be crucial to reproducing the bug.
