Description

I can reproduce this problem at my homestation on the Brierie multiplayer server.

It's worth noting Brierie server hasn't wiped in almost a year so whether this is reproducable on a fresh map in uncertain.

When docking on rails placed in a certain fashion near a sector edge, I'm teleported with my ship a large distance away, if I exit my ship I'm unable to renter and ship appears to have become like a hologram (astronaut sidearm shoots straight through it).

If I stay inside the ship and try reconnecting to the server, I'm transported again the same distance from the ship that myself and the ship was originally transported from the docking rail in the same direction, on my own as an astronaut, but when I'm able to reach the ship again I can usually regain control.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Build a new station block near the edge of another sector.
  1. Extend a platform out so it overlaps the neighboring sector and the one you're in (using the mirror tool in advanced may be crucial to reproducing the problem)
  1. Place two basic rails so they're on the same station but in different sectors. (Mirror tool doesn't seem necessary for this part in testing)
  1. Try to dock on both basic rails with a ship, one rail should work correctly, the other should transport you and your ship to what I believe is the same coordinates in the neighboring sector, around 6km away on the multiplayer Brierie server that I tried this on.

Also worth adding that mirroring materials from personal cargo on one sector side or another may be crucial to reproducing the bug.

Duplicate, merging tasks.

It docks you in the wrong sector with the correct local position, resulting in your ship being moved by a full sector.
Centering your station should prevent this issue from occuring.

Select the station (if you're admin) and then type /teleport_selected_to 0 0 0
