To be fair, I recently figured out that something about my computer's hardware is causing the JVM to freak out, giving me SigSegV's, memory leaks, and possibly other memory errors. So that's most of my problem. Just thought I would let you guys know that a good portion of my problems with your game are not your fault. (Modded Minecraft encounters the same memory problems. ?)

I am afraid that this leak can and has gone above JVM specified in a single game as well, not going back to the main menu at all. But sure, I will give you a log file of me playing for hours.
Sorry for the delayed response, system drive started failing.

And every time I suffer an EOFException from bad connection on trying to connect, its using another 100-200Mb for nothing. Could you guys work on solving this?
I would definitely say that there is some memory leakage to the game. (Possibly) Unless it was your desire to keep some assets loaded when exiting a game to the main menu, in which case, that's fine. I try to load onto a server with a newly started instance of StarMade, my connection lags out, I'm back to the Main Menu, and suddenly it had gone from 500Mb to 1.5GB.

What I forgot to mention was that the version i was using is the current version (0.198.233 most recent hotfix).
I am not running avast, though when I was a while ago I didn't have any problems.

I too confirm the hotfix did resolve the shader compilation issue.

No, its a bug, I have redownloaded the game twice and still it persists.
data/./textures/block/ was the directory the resource exception refers to. Forgot to add that in.

FPS drop is still there after turning V-Sync off, but not as bad as with v-sync. (I might also mention that this is with a large station/moderate battle in-sector, so maybe this will be fixed when you guys update/optimize Starmade's graphics engine.)

Reinstall of Java after Memory(RAM) Bios settings adjusted to solve the common Overclock crash fixed it.

Nope, just like every time I tried to fix motherboard configuration, Solution does not work...

Ok, I have found an unsafe solution to the problem, it is Win10 causing the problem, the solution is to run Javaw.exe with admin privilages, which is very unsafe as far as I know...
Also, thanks for your time and effort in trying to fix this. I appreciate it. I have never seen any other game dev team do something as good as this.
To my knowledge, the JVM crash reports I posted earlier are still valid, nothing has changed... I look into the game log and it is still the same as before... Just stops somewhere with no logged error, and the place it stops at is random. The fact that JVM is blaming native code as the problem tells me this may not be something you can fix, (I could be wrong, but this is on the win10 OS) so maybe I should just delete this ticket, seeing as I can start up the game after a try or three.

Something tells me Minecraft wont encounter this crash, because each and every single time, its an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION from Java, and I personally have never seen this from minecraft... Ya, I am having no trouble opening up minecraft...
Can I edit one little detail about the task? It wont let me...

I have not played minecraft in a long while, and because it runs on Java, I think it would be the perfect test to see if it is a problem with my Java install... I will run the test this afternoon...

That's what I did actually... Just completely deleted the starmade directory and download from scratch. Also, just for banter since I wouldn't lose anything, I just redownloaded starmade and the first thing I encounter is a JVM crash, which happened even before I got to the options main menu... Which means no game log file from that... And makes no sense either seeing as I am usually able to get to the menu with no trouble...
Mind you, this has been happening for several versions... This was happening before and after a complete reinstall of starmade to fix a different problem... (I think)
My Bad... sry:

Here is a later game crash...
I just fixed my hardware crashes, and I still get the JVM crash...

I am big noob indeed, this is the entirety of my logs folder, it contains everything I have encountered past and present probably...
They are the only reports i'm getting if the game crash logs are not in their own little subfolder, which I have not checked for. Would also explain why I'm the only one getting this crash. Could you tell me what's going wrong with JVM? It could help me solve what's been going wrong with my computer.
But, im going to include the files anyway... XD The latest of them.

I hope you can wait a little while, I'm trying to sort out some bad hardware difficulties, and JVM crashing may just be a symptom...

One thing I forgot to mention is that it happens every time I jump out of the sector that has the shipyard... And then jump back in after some pirate combat.
