I love the new update, but for one reason or another I cant load onto a server (Or a single player game either) because resource and nullptr exceptions that happen every time.

data/./textures/block/ was the directory the resource exception refers to. Forgot to add that in.

this isnt a bug.
probably your textures got corrupted somehow.
just remove the data/textures/block folder and then use
"options&repair" ->Build switcher (choose-search currently installed) -> download normal
to repair the installation

No, its a bug, I have redownloaded the game twice and still it persists.

did you follow my instructions ?
i am sure it is a broken installation.
are you using steam to install and run the game ?

you may want to open a support request here https://starmade.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

they might have an idea what the problem is
