This is a very minor bug/weird mechanic, but I guess it can still be reported.
If the acceleration provided by defensive push or pull effects would cause your ship to go faster than its maximum speed, the ship doesn't accelerate at all instead of accelerating it to its maximum speed. I don't know if this is intended but I don't think it's very natural.
note: from ingame testing, activating a defensive push/pull seems to increase the ship's speed by 200*[push_effect_mass_ratio] m/s (these values aren't changed by the server speed limit), I guess it can be useful to know
