Starmade | Pirates only see to max installed weapon range

Description

As the title says pirates onyl start shooting at you when you get into their weapon range. This is ridiculous if you isntalled power drain on a pirate ship and someone have to be in a range of 480 meters (i think thats vanilla). Due to this concept every cannon based pirateship can be shot with Missiles without the pirate shooting back.
please change the pirate visible range or whatever you call that at least to sector size or better to the Navigation System range. If you can see pirates in Navigation System they should do that as well.

Until this is fixed any other weapon than Missile + beam is useless for pirates.

Confirmed
The method used to reproduce:

  1. build a ship with a single weapon
  2. create a blueprint of that ship
  3. spawn the blueprint of that ship
  4. move out of the range of the weapon on the ship, while having the ship selected
  5. use "/start_ship_ai -1" to start the ship's AI as a pirate
  6. wait to see if the AI detects you(if it does, you either calculated the wrong range for its weapon, or this bug is fixed)
  7. slowly move closer, observing the AI ship(it should start moving or shooting when it detects you)
  8. observe as the AI ship only starts reacting, when you enter the range of its weapon

We had something like this on redmine tracker, Apart from we thought it was just an ai issue.

Was in queue one of my bugs, Would assume it hasn't be fixed.

There are some, however.

Bug 720: AI has a fixed range
was the report about the original behaviour with a fixed number range.

cant find any other related issue.
