Power supply beams on docked power modules are bypassing entities.
The main ship I'm working on is a composite of docked entities. There is the main hull which the modular power cores are docked to. There is also a separate shield hull also docked to the main hull.
The modular power cores have there power supply beam output blocks 2 away from a layer of blocks that is on the main hull.
Then there is a 6 block gap. Some of the modular power supply modules have a 1 block layer of blocks belonging to the shield module here.
Then there is around 40 layers of jump drive blocks belonging to the main ship.
Then a many hundred metre gap before there is a 2 layers of shield blocks connected to the shield module.
Then another air gap and then another 2 layers of shield blocks connected to the shield module.
Then there is a bunch of docked weapon modules after that.
I can see the power supply beams are randomly punching through all of these entities. Some of them hitting the first thing they run into other are punching through 2 separate sections of the main hull and 3 separate sections of the shield module to hit the docked weapon modules right at the front of the ship.
I have created a new world and re spawned the entire ship in trying to resolve a separate problem and the beams are doing the same thing there. Turning the supply beam on and off also doesn't make a difference either.
