Launcher | Launcher falsely claims need for update when switching versions[linux&OSX only]

Description

When switching build versions, the launcher always forces an update, even if the newly selected build is the currently installed build.
To reproduce:

  1. select and install build version X
  2. select build Y, do NOT install
  3. select build X again
  4. observe the state of the 'launch'/'update' button

The initial state for this button when starting the launcher is also always 'update', regardless which build is installed.

Note: there is no internet traffic occurs when I click update on OSX version, but the download bar still runs.

I believe fixing T779 and T739 resolved this issue in v0.0.4; can anyone else verify?
