I used to be able to use a logbook similar to a text document, loved it. I can no longer enter new text into the logbook without it dumping all text that is in currently in there. I could click the text field or tap and arrow key and the text would turn white, then I could enter new text, but it either glitches now or is broke to where this is no longer the case.
Very irritating.

some observations

  • deleting all content from a Logbook 512/512 characters and 4/4 lines left - > you cant save with OK. Only option is cancel then. one Character is needed in the Logbook to work.
  • you can place the cursor only in the top 2 rows and only up to character 36. move up and down with the arrow keys works fine. - > makes it look like you cant edit the content when using the mouse only
  • filling a logbook to 512 characters and saveing is not working. you have to stop at 511 characters for it to save on pressing OK. not knowing that makes the content look to bug out weird when editing over the 512
  • with the new GUI and resize ability of the logbook window - is there still a need for only 4 Lines?

512 character 99 lines that looks better now

however ... i did run into a nullpointer once while testing this-
i was copy pasting random text into the logbokk and adding line breaks (had to delete character for that because i already did reach the 412 limit)
on saving the content the following error happened
