Starmade | connection between basic rail and a storage module is reset when rail change direction/status via logic
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

Storage are disconnected from basic rails when their state/direction is changed via logic.

Tested with other players on our server with different carriers : when changing rail direction to undock mining drones (for exemple), the link between the rail and the main storage is always reset. Then you have to reconnect them when the drones are docked again to the carrier to be able to pull their content into the main storage.

(sorry for the bad english, it's been a whole year without proper practice..)

Can't seem to reproduce, I changed a basic rail into other rail types and orientations, but its connection with the storage chest was still there.
Do you have a blueprint of a ship where this is happening? Upload it here (drag and drop the file into the comment section) and I can take a look at it.

Nevermind, it's already been fixed in the pre-builds. Most likely related to T1299
Don't need to set this one on private though, merging tasks.

Hey there, the bug is still present in 199.535, but it's not logic linked, it's when a drone is docked on the rail which is linked to the storage pulling module (tested it with a drone carrier), the link randomly vanished or totally I haven't found any clues for the reason why that is still occuring.
