Tried several things but it doesn't seem to do anything for me.
- Fresh install with launcher didn't auto-fill my name
- Fresh install and removing any cache, re-entering uplink in launcher didn't auto-fill my name
- Current install with an "empty name" and already an uplink, didn't auto-fill my name.
Maybe I'm missing something here?
As a side note, I assume clearing out your name to be 0 characters/empty doesn't actually count to have it auto-fill next time? If so, isn't that a bit odd? an empty name isn't going to be helpful at all. If not, ignore this line.

it will only set the player name if the name is compatible and there wasnt previously a name set. Uplink is now automatically set from launcher
