Description

If fleets are given certain commands, players in fleet ships (including the flagship) will not be able to fly when they enter the ship, and the fleet AI won't turn off as it does in the other modes.

  1. get in fleet ship as pilot
  2. tell fleet to move
  3. try controlling ship as fleet move order commences

Ships that are given a fleet command will fight the player pilot's control until either the command is completed, or the fleet is deleted. Giving an idle command will not stop the fleets current command.

This is true for the current live version, however it is also useful as an autopilot feature to travel between waypoints :)

yes, but for that
staying in gravity or being aligned would be correct.

It should not fight with your controls, then better have it as optional feature that can be turned on and off at some point.

The last update made this worse.

Previously, you could just turn off the AI in the AI tab (ship menu) to deactivate the AI override on the player. Having an AI block or not made no difference.

However, now unless you have a bobby AI block even turning the AI off doesn't deactivate the AI control override. You need to place a Bobby AI block on the ship and turn it off in order to successfully turn off the AI.

Checked moving, defending, attacking, sentry and formation mode and seems to be working fine.

Taking over a turret makes fleet AI take over the main ship which is good, the rest I checked before still looks good.
