Starmade | Random blocks in advanced build mode after creating docked entity.
Confirmed task for development, LowPublic

Description

  • Create a ship with some basic rails.
  • Add a docked entity to the rail using the option in the advanced build mode.
  • After placing the core of the docked entity and confirming the name hit CTR again for advanced build mode.
  • Random blocks will be placed of the type you have selected in your hotbar.
  • If you have a larger brush set it will fill the shape of this brush.

basically right a few additional observations:
how to reproduce:

  1. create a ship with a flat surface, place a basic rail in the surface

Created docking (failed because of missing core, in case of success same effect):

  1. i could find no way to stop this except to relog. when ever the mouse was moving inside the horizontal plane a block that is choosen in the hotbar while holding adv. build mode button gets placed erraticaly.

AndyP lowered the priority of this task from Pre-Release Quality Assurance to Low.

Recheck:
Only a small glitch, using the ctrl+click paste/paint mode in advanced build mode while the dialog is open.

The only thing to notice is:
It sometimes happens behind the dialog, but using other functions while waiting for the core to be placed should not be prevented in the first place.
So not really sure if this is considered a bug at all.
