Starmade | Flashlights can turn character models invisble.
Closed, RejectedPublic

Description

Ran across it and did some testing on the spot to recreate it, managed to have it happen 6 times.

Have a flashlight turned on, and fly around looking at another astronaut, they will sometimes vanish leaving the nav marker visible.

Do you need to aim the light to a specific spot to make this happen?

(Does it happen only for you, or could have someone else confirm the pilot went invisible?)

It didn't seem to happen based on where I was looking, but thinking back on the times it did happen the character I was looking at happened to be facing to my side.

The first time was when they moved towards me to the right, and then vanished when the right side of them was exposed to me. The other times it happened I also think they were looking to the left or right and the sides of their model were facing me.

Will do some more testing again later tonight to confirm if this is the case.

Great, if you can narrow it down to some factors it would help a lot. =)
(Tried to flashlight and stalk a few players, never had even a flicker of them to invisible or alike, so looks like it may be some specific scenery)

You might try to video record it happening... and then submit the logs, just a thought
