turret performance has gotten worse with ver 0.19408 vs 0.19401
procedure
- place a turret with bobby ai set to turret and target any or missile -make sure the mother entity has adequate mass enhancers and power for the size of the turret
- activate the turret ai
- summon a target (in my case i used "mass spawn ships" button in admin tab of catalog menu)
you should be able to notice that the turret will not raise or lower its gun/vertical axis portion to fire at the enemy.
the turret will still occasionally fire but it will more often than not be firing one direction while facing another.
sometimes the turret will even be firing backwards through itself to the target.
