Description


The initial values

Look at the yellow and red circle, the shield (red circle) "does not consume power" (as 0 here).


Adding the shield gen and caps

The value in yellow circle "increased", but the value in red circle remain "0".
*Question A: Wrong value at red circle? as yellow value shows shield gen and caps consuming power.


The power supply at that time.

How many are they consuming? They are consuming 520 power now. BUT the red circle shows value "0".
Also, there is 1246 power for scanner. BUT there is no scanner or scanner function for a Station.
The consumption shows 3738.2, but Priority shows 1772.6. (520+1252.6)


Adding def chamber

The value of yellow circle "increased", but "red circle" remain "0".
*questionB: does the chamber consume power?
Also, the "red circle" remain "0".

def chamber: consuming 3.1 power
Sub-def chamber: consuming 3.2 power
Both of them are 125-blocks size.

After the experiment above Power in T2624: Game crashed and station removed...

Sorry, the message of Mon, Oct 16, 5:57 AM should be in T2630 Dev .122 - wrong value of stabilization.

*As i feel very confused about the system now. :/

Shields don't have proper power consumption values yet (and had none in 0.200.122). The consumption increase you're seeing is from increasing your mass. Some systems such as scanners and jump drive, still have their power consumption scale with mass.
